Big River Boat & RV Storage
Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of storage do you offer?

Outdoor parking, covered, enclosed, and premium (above the flood plain) storage for boats, RVs, and utility trailers — availability varies by location. We don't accept cars or trucks stored on their own.

What is Premium Location storage?

Units located above the flood plain, so they shouldn't be affected even during major flood events. Rates are slightly higher for the added peace of mind — a good fit for long-term storage or a more valuable vehicle.

What is Covered storage?

A roof overhead with open sides, protecting your boat or RV from rain and sun. Designed for larger vehicles — our largest covered unit is 16×53.

What is Enclosed storage?

A shed-style unit open at each end, with a roof for protection from rain and sun. Supports boats up to 25 feet — for anything longer, Covered storage is the option.

Is there an admin fee or security deposit?

No. You just pay your first month's rent to get started.

Do you offer short-term storage?

There's a 6-month minimum commitment, billed monthly. After that, it's month-to-month. Call us for unique situations.

How do I pay my bill?

Pay conveniently online from your phone or computer any time — see our Pay Online page.

When can I access my unit?

24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at all three locations. Come and go on your own schedule.

What security features are in place?

All locations are fenced and gated with coded keypad access and security cameras monitoring the property.

Can someone follow me in through the gate?

Please don't let anyone tailgate in behind you. We can't verify they're supposed to be there, and if there's ever an incident, the person whose code opened the gate is treated as the responsible party.

Do I need to visit an office to sign up?

No office visit required — rental agreements are handled online or by text.
